Join the Friends of the Chesterfield County Public Library or renew your membership!
The Friends are a diverse, energetic group of library fans who want libraries to remain at the forefront of the community.
Being a Friend allows you to:
- Support your local libraries and the programs they provide
- Receive a welcome packet with coupons for Friends Book Sales and library fine forgiveness up to $10
- Attend Friends Receptions for free
- Be invited to Friends Special Events
- Hear about opportunities to volunteer with the Friends
- Join the Virginia Credit Union
Becoming a Friend doesn’t mean you have to attend meetings or volunteer your time (although we’d love it if you did!). Contributing through your annual membership fees does so much to help the Friends support the library.
Have a friend or family member who loves the library? Let them know you care by giving the gift of a Friends membership!
You can pay for your Friends membership using a check, credit card, or PayPal. Memberships will expire each year on December 31.
If you prefer to join or renew by sending a check in the mail, click here to download and print the Friends brochure.

Sponsorship levels at $1,000, $2,500, $5,000, and $10,000 are available by request only. Contact us for details.
